RACHEL GATEWOOD (SHE/HER): ACTOR

Rachel Gatewood is a Harlem based Actor and Producer originating from Dallas, Texas. Her religious background introduced her to the magic of parables, and while she may have traded memorizing bible verses for sonnets, she remains humbly devoted to the power of storytelling and its ability to foster empathy and understanding.

Rachel has a BFA in Acting from SUNY Purchase, where she received classical training with contemporary sensibilities, and cultivated her passion for exploring new forms of theatrical expression with rigor and joy. She has worked with various New York theatre companies such as One Year Lease, SITI Company, ANDtheatre Co, The New Ohio, The Greenhouse Ensemble, and Blessed Unrest. When not acting, she works as a collaborative producer with Next Door Pictures.
