MARION CHARLES (SHE/HER): Theatrical Development board member
Passionate about the arts in general as a child, Marion was not destined for an artistic career. After graduating from high school with a degree in science, she initially wanted to devote herself to medicine. However, the call of creativity was too strong for her, and she decided to become an interior designer and study graphic design. Urged by her father to really do what she loves, she finally found the courage to launch herself into musical theater. Interning in Paris, then studying in Brussels, she began her career as an assistant director, stage manager, and then as an actress, in a revival of Jacques Offenbach's operetta L'île de Tulipatan. Her love of writing being strongest, it is in poems in particular that she is best able to express her talent.
Dreaming of discovering the Big Apple for its rich musical theater culture, it's in April 2023 that she set foot for the first time in New York, where two months later she made the acquaintance of Kamran Saliani and Rivertowns Playhouse, where she is proud to bring her experience and European culture to the development of the great art of theater and being a part of this family.
